The new EU cosmetics regulation entered into force on 11 July 2013. Many in the cosmetics industry are still confused over the exact wording of the regulation, which implies tightening safety controls and information on cosmetic products.
The Cosmetic compliance summit was Europe’s first two day event dedicated entirely to the EU cosmetic regulation and its implications, giving brand owners, cosmetic designers and formulators, as well as manufacturing companies a chance to network, share best practices, discuss obstacles and overcome some of the biggest challenges the cosmetics industry faces today.
Key industry professionals met in London at the Cosmetic compliance summit to discuss the surrounding issues, on 15 and 16 October 2013.
